About the role

The Senior Front-End Engineer will design, develop, and support web-based tools for scientific research and hardware integration. This role involves shaping best-in-class UX/UI to support teams of quantum scientists and engineers in their research and development goals.

Responsibilities

• Developing scientific software and hardware control interfaces for use by teams across IonQ.
• Adhering to and setting strict testing discipline.
• Liaising with users from a range of cross-functional backgrounds to gather requirements for tools and gain a better understanding of workflows.
• Designing and implementing web based tooling.
• Work as part of the wider quantum tools and software team to embed best practice and stronger processes.
