About the role

The Welding Technology Process Engineer will lead cross-functional projects in welding and robotics, including tender preparation and economic analysis. The role involves developing robot programming routines, training staff, and supporting production with technical problem-solving. You will also focus on productivity and quality optimization through value stream mapping and efficiency workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects in welding and robotics including tender preparation and economic analysis
• Develop programming routines for existing and future robotic systems
• Train employees on robot operation and programming
• Review models and drawings for automated weldability
• Design and procure production equipment such as robots and automated systems
• Support design teams in creating automation-friendly products and analyze production issues
• Develop value stream maps and implement productivity and quality improvement measures
