Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a member of the R&D Reliability team, you will contribute to improving the performance, reliability, and availability of Exotec robotic systems. You will analyze field data and failure modes to identify root causes, develop analytical tools, and implement technical improvements. This role sits at the interface between hardware and software, requiring you to bridge the gap between data analysis and concrete system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze failures and improve reliability by exploiting field data and defining corrective actions.
• Develop software tools to diagnose problems and evaluate system performance.
• Develop and test embedded software to resolve hardware-software interface issues.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve components, subsystems, and hardware architectures.
• Design and conduct tests to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Participate in customer support to investigate issues and identify new areas for improvement.

Qualifications
