About the role
The Mechanical Design Draftsman will be responsible for drafting project-specific basic GA and detail engineering drawings. The role involves preparing BOQs based on 2D and 3D piping layouts and interpreting technical project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Draft project specific Basic GA and detail engineering drawings.
- Preparation of BOQs for correctness as per requirements from 3D / 2D piping layouts.
- Reading and understanding project specific drawings such as P&I diagrams, piping drawings, equipment GA drawings, etc.
- Conversant with equipment GA drawings such as pumps, blowers, instruments, etc. to know the details of mounting.
