About the role
As a technician at Picnic, you will be part of our internal maintenance team and contribute to the smooth operation of our Material Handling Equipment. You will receive training in maintenance and troubleshooting while helping to improve processes and build future technology. You will work in a 24/7 fulfillment center environment as part of a rotating 5-shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Solving and preventing breakdowns: You tackle technical issues and ensure they do not happen again
- Staying ahead of problems: You identify early signs of potential failures and take action before they cause disruptions
- Preventive maintenance: You carry out preventive maintenance to ensure our machines keep running at all times
- Continuous improvement: You implement ongoing improvements to ensure our automated systems operate at their optimal level
