Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Kittl is building an AI-native design tool for creative businesses and is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the Editor team. You will own the quality strategy for the team, participating in the full feature cycle from requirement reviews to release sign-off. This role involves balancing exploratory testing with the maintenance of automated E2E test suites to ensure high-quality releases for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Own the test approach for the Editor team's features and releases, choosing functional, integration, regression and performance coverage based on real risk
• Join requirement and design discussions to catch edge cases and quality gaps before code is written
• Write and maintain Playwright + TypeScript E2E tests for critical editor and AI flows
• Perform exploratory testing on complex editor behaviour
• Lead bug triage and release validation, and make the call on what's ready to ship during major launches
• Improve testing frameworks, CI workflows and QA practices across teams
