About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and scale high-performance features across the full stack to support a global, three-sided marketplace. This role focuses on the New Verticals team, working on grocery and retail ecosystem operations to ensure seamless order processing and inventory management. You will contribute to a high-traffic environment, influencing technical direction and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical execution by designing, building, and scaling backend services and frontend components that handle high-traffic workloads.
• Lead architectural improvements and code reviews to ensure system efficiency and operational health.
• Partner with cross-functional disciplines including product managers and designers to plan projects and mitigate technical risks.
• Break down complex problems into deliverable choices to influence the team's roadmap.
• Support the growth of others through mentorship and active participation in the engineering hiring process.
