Principal UX Designer

About the role

As a Principal UX Designer, you will serve as the specialist authority ensuring that AI projects are built with user-centric, trustworthy interfaces. You will operate at the intersection of client engagements and the broader design practice, turning deep UX expertise into real-world impact for diverse industrial and enterprise partners. You will lead the design strategy, establish governance, and mentor teams to ensure high-quality, accessible, and operationally critical system designs.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience strategy across demanding client AI engagements from discovery through handover-ready designs.
• Shape UX and CX strategy by framing problems and conducting evidence-based research with operators and engineers.
• Define interaction patterns for agentic systems including human-in-the-loop approval, latency communication, and error states.
• Set standards for designing complex, data-dense, and operationally critical systems.
• Drive the adoption of shared design systems and component libraries across project portfolios.
• Establish DesignOps and design governance, including review rituals and quality bars with a focus on accessibility.
