About the role
Clera is an early-stage, venture-backed AI infrastructure company building production-ready Kubernetes-based systems for GPU-intensive workloads. We are looking for a Java Developer to join our small, high-impact engineering team to design, develop, and maintain backend services and infrastructure tooling.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into robust, scalable Java-based solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and infrastructure tooling that supports our distributed systems platform.
- Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
- Contribute to the reliability and performance of systems handling AI inference pipelines, distributed training, storage orchestration, and GPU scheduling workloads.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
