About the role

As a member of the management committee, you will define and implement the purchasing policy to meet economic and quality performance objectives. You will lead a team of 13 people to manage a diverse range of purchasing categories, including food, travel, and equipment, while ensuring compliance and optimizing processes across various business units.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and implement the purchasing policy in terms of costs, quality, and volume
• Lead and coordinate the team of buyers and support their professional development
• Develop and monitor purchasing budgets and provide rigorous reporting
• Optimize purchasing organization and processes by deploying new tools and indicators
• Rationalize the supplier panel to meet performance goals and manage risks
• Conduct strategic negotiations and manage contractual agreements and disputes
