Junior Fullstack Engineer - Productivity

About the role

Doctrine is seeking an intern to join the Productivity team to enhance document management tools within their legal AI platform. The intern will work on improving the visualization and manipulation of various file types, including PDF and Word documents, directly within the browser. This role involves collaborating with product and technical teams to define and implement features that improve user efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to visualize PDF, Word, and image files directly in the browser
• Implement configuration options such as zoom, search, and orientation
• Overlay OCR text onto original documents to enable selection and copying
• Create features for document splitting, merging, and page reordering
• Participate in user needs analysis and technical solution definition
• Engage with the web chapter to share knowledge and improve development practices
