Propulsion Data & Modeling Engineer

About the role

The Exploration Company is seeking a Propulsion Functional Systems Engineer to contribute to the development, testing, and analysis of the Nyx Earth Propulsion System. You will bridge the gap between design and hardware testing by developing analysis tools and fluidic models to verify propulsion subsystems. This role involves working closely with design and testing teams to ensure the performance and reliability of space transportation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis, post-processing, and prediction tools to support testing and design activities.
• Collaborate with pressure and feed system engineers to define test configurations and ensure model representativeness.
• Create test plans and conduct data acquisition, analysis, and reporting for propulsion subsystems.
• Provide on-site support during test campaigns, including real-time analysis and anomaly resolution.
• Conduct pre-test and post-test reviews and update fluidic models based on empirical results.
