About the role

As a Teamleider Operations, you will act as a hands-on leader for the Rail Coordinators, overseeing daily rail operations and providing support during disruptions. You will balance practical rail experience with team management, ensuring that operational priorities are set and customer escalations are handled effectively. This role is ideal for someone with operational rail experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and support the development of Rail Coordinators
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
• Assist with daily operational tasks when necessary
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational bottlenecks and customer inquiries
• Determine priorities during disruptions or resource shortages
• Communicate with customers regarding operational status and provide reports
• Propose improvements to the planning and other departments
