About the role

The Principal Clinical Data Scientist leads the clinical science function across oncology, rare disease, and autoimmune clinical development programs. This role involves providing scientific expertise to support the collection, review, and interpretation of clinical trial data while ensuring high-quality outcomes and participant safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and ensure successful study execution within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional team lead for clinical science services from study start through database lock.
  • Perform holistic individual and aggregate participant data review using proprietary and non-proprietary tools.
  • Act as the scientific and clinical data subject matter expert for study teams, guiding eCRF design and data capture requirements.
  • Support Risk Based Quality Management by identifying and addressing study risks and trends.
  • Collaborate with medical monitoring teams to oversee data review findings and ensure protocol compliance.
  • Develop and maintain clinical science project plans, guidelines, and trackers.
