Contractor Development Manager

About the role

Plentific is looking for a Contractor Development Manager to lead the effort in identifying and onboarding contractors to their property operations platform. This business development role involves finding suitable trade businesses, guiding them through the verification process, and ensuring they are ready to take on jobs for clients such as social housing providers. You will own the contractor pipeline from initial outreach to active status, using data to target supply needs and improve the platform's contractor network.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to contractors who match the ideal contractor profile.
• Sign contractors up to Plentific marketplaces and guide them through the onboarding process.
• Find suitable businesses for specific client projects and discuss requirements, pricing, and SLAs.
• Build channels to reach new contractors through trade associations, local networks, events, and referrals.
• Review contractor documentation and certificates to ensure they meet verification standards.
• Manage the end-to-end contractor pipeline and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
• Use data to identify regions and trades where additional supply is needed and prioritize outreach accordingly.
