Lead Accountant

About the role

Dashlane is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of the French entity's financial operations. This role involves managing local statutory compliance, global reporting, and modernizing accounting workflows through automation and AI tools. You will report to the US-based VP, Global Controller and collaborate with international teams to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete month-end close process for the French entity and maintain local accounting books.
• Lead the annual French Statutory Audit, manage tax/VAT filings, and coordinate the annual CIR preparation.
• Partner with the Global Controller on the annual US GAAP audit, internal controls, and special international accounting projects.
• Manage US GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition, support payment automation, and oversee B2B invoicing and AR collections.
• Monitor third-party payroll JEs and accruals, process vendor bills, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Optimize French accounting systems and lead project management for 2027 French e-invoicing compliance initiatives.
• Modernize accounting operations by adopting AI-assisted tools and automated workflows.
