Lead Accountant

About the role

Dashlane is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of the French entity's financial operations. This role involves managing local statutory compliance, global reporting, and modernizing accounting workflows through automation and AI tools. You will report to the US-based VP, Global Controller and collaborate with international teams to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete month-end close process for the French entity and maintain local accounting books.
• Lead the annual French Statutory Audit, manage tax/VAT filings, and coordinate the annual CIR preparation.
• Partner with the Global Controller on US GAAP audits, internal controls, and international accounting projects.
• Manage US GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition, B2B invoicing, and AR collections.
• Monitor payroll JEs, process vendor bills, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Optimize accounting systems and lead project management for French e-invoicing compliance initiatives.
• Modernize operations by adopting AI-assisted tools and automated workflows.
