About the role

You will own the release pipeline and reliability infrastructure for autonomous security robots, ensuring that code changes are rigorously tested before deployment. This role involves building simulation environments, regression suites, and hardware-in-the-loop rigs to maintain safety and performance standards. You will be the first engineer dedicated to this function, working closely with the Robot Autonomy team to prevent customer incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the release pipeline from commit to robot deployment.
  • Develop and maintain GPU-backed simulation environments for continuous testing.
  • Create scenario libraries and regression suites covering the full on-robot stack.
  • Implement hardware-in-the-loop bench rigs and test procedures.
  • Execute failure injection testing to verify system degradation and recovery.
  • Convert field incidents into deterministic regression tests.
