Senior Linux Distribution & Validation Engineer

About the role

You will build the Linux distribution foundation that powers Graphcore AI systems, turning upstream software into production-ready platform releases. This role involves creating and improving automated pipelines, running test suites, and diagnosing issues across build and validation flows. You will join a new, co-located engineering team focused on delivering reliable platform releases through evidence-led validation.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable engineering workflows
• Create production-ready system images from upstream Linux distributions
• Run established Linux test suites and diagnose failures in automated build and test environments
• Introduce controlled configuration and tuning changes with evidence-led validation
• Define reliable processes for the platform release engineering path
