Maintainer

About the role

As a Maintainer, you will ensure the stability, security, and availability of mature digital products as user numbers and functionality grow. You will automate operations, monitor system health, and resolve incidents systematically while leveraging AI tools to accelerate operational tasks. This role involves collaborating with the product team to manage the lifecycle of online campus platforms and AI-driven learning products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance targets for availability and response times.
• Automate operations including deployments, updates, backups, and recovery using Infrastructure as Code and pipelines.
• Systematically resolve incidents, document root causes, and prevent recurrences.
• Manage security patches, dependencies, access rights, and data protection requirements.
• Monitor cloud costs and plan capacity for growth.
• Maintain the stability and currency of the learning platform in coordination with external service providers.
• Use AI tools to accelerate log analysis, runbooks, and recurring operational tasks.
• Coordinate handovers with the Builder and Sweeper roles and document operational knowledge.
