Senior Linux Distribution & Validation Engineer

About the role

You will build the Linux distribution foundation that powers Graphcore AI systems, turning upstream software into production-ready platform releases. This role involves creating system images, building automated pipelines, and diagnosing issues across build and validation flows. You will join a new, co-located engineering team focused on evidence-led validation and reliable process definition.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for engineering workflows
• Produce production-ready system images from upstream Linux distributions
• Run established Linux test suites and diagnose failures in build and validation flows
• Introduce controlled configuration and tuning changes with evidence-led validation
• Define reliable processes for platform releases
