About the role

The Head of Product for Flex owns the vision, strategy and commercial success of the residential VPP platform globally. This role leads a product organisation embedded across device integration, optimisation, monetisation and SaaS platform teams while sitting on the Flex Leadership team. The position requires balancing the needs of energy retailers and device OEMs to drive platform growth and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the global product strategy for Flex, translating company-level strategy into a roadmap.
  • Build and lead a high-performing product organisation by hiring, developing and retaining product managers.
  • Make trade-off calls to balance the needs of energy retailers and device OEMs.
  • Partner with engineering, commercial and partnership teams to align product and technical strategy.
  • Define annual goals and OKRs for Flex and hold the organisation accountable for outcomes.
  • Lead demos and pitches for prospective clients and represent the product practice at industry forums.
  • Own the long-term roadmap narrative for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion product craft and ways of working across the Flex organisation.
