Software Test Automation Intern

About the role

The AI team at Agile Robots is seeking a Software Test Automation Intern to develop automated tests that identify defects across applications and services. This role focuses on ensuring software quality before production by building robust testing frameworks and integrating them into CI pipelines.

Responsibilities

• UI Test Automation: Write and maintain automated browser tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• API Testing: Build automated checks for REST endpoints using tools such as Postman/Newman or REST Assured.
• CI Integration: Wire automated tests into CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI so failures surface before code merges.
• Test Suite Structuring: Organize test suites using frameworks such as Jest, Pytest, or JUnit.
• Data-Driven Testing: Parameterize tests so a single test case covers multiple input scenarios.
• Visual Regression Testing: Apply tools such as Percy or Applitools to catch unintended visual changes in the interface.
