System Engineer

About the role

The System Engineer acts as an IT generalist responsible for administering internal systems and supporting the NOC team. This role involves managing the complete system landscape, providing user support, and handling technical troubleshooting within a medium-sized ICT company.

Responsibilities

• Support internal applications, user systems, monitoring tools, ticket systems, databases, and ERP
• Provide remote and onsite support for employees and client systems including Windows notebooks, iPhones, and Cisco VoIP
• Assist the Network Operation Center with customer system maintenance, ticket processing, and initial analysis
• Document support processes and solutions in the internal knowledge base
• Execute technical tasks and small projects such as data center installations
• Support team onboarding and participate in a rotating on-call system
