Senior Data Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will build and shape our Snowflake platform, setting standards and providing technical leadership for the team. You will design architectures, develop automated data pipelines, and act as a key partner to stakeholders up to the executive level. This role offers the opportunity to influence our data strategy and BI landscape while working from our offices or remotely within Germany.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural decision-making and set technical standards for the platform.
• Build and maintain the company's new data lake and Snowflake-based data foundation.
• Develop and optimize automated, performant, and stable data pipelines using CI/CD practices.
• Redesign the BI landscape by integrating data from across the organization and sister companies.
• Provide technical coaching to team members and communicate effectively with management and department heads.
