Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer is a high-impact individual contributor who delivers complex work and raises the effectiveness of the team. This role exists to tackle technically challenging problems, support less experienced engineers, and contribute to sound technical decisions while remaining aligned with agreed architecture and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex features and improvements
• Take ownership of technically significant or high-risk work
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, testable, and well understood
• Help diagnose and resolve complex production issues
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers
• Contribute strongly to code reviews and design discussions
• Support the Engineering Tech Lead in maintaining technical quality
• Identify technical risks and raise them early
