Principal Solutions Architect

About the role

The Commerce & Technology division is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead solution design in business pursuits and account growth across enterprise commerce. You will act as a key advisor who understands the entire commerce estate, translating complex technical requirements into clear business value for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end commerce solutions across Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, HCL, and composable (MACH) platforms.
• Frame solutions around commercial outcomes, cost, and return to provide clear business cases for change.
• Lead discovery workshops and collaborate with commercial teams to identify and shape technical growth opportunities.
• Produce architecture diagrams and designs covering storefronts, mobile apps, search, content, order management, and ERP integrations.
• Guide clients through platform migrations and choices, evaluating total cost of ownership and risk.
• Build business cases, value models, and roadmaps that link technology decisions to revenue and margin.
• Develop demo storefronts and prototypes to demonstrate possibilities and mitigate decision risk.
• Own the solution story, architecture, and effort estimates during proposals and pitches.
