About the role

Idealo internet GmbH offers the opportunity to write a Bachelor's or Master's thesis within the Catalog team, focusing on offer recognition and catalog association. The role involves researching and developing modern machine learning methods, specifically focusing on Large Language Models and agentic systems for intelligent cataloging. Students will work on real-world challenges at scale, supported by experienced developers with a scientific background.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop modern machine learning applications using Large Language Models and agentic systems.
• Focus on automatic cataloging using agent systems and foundation models for e-commerce classification.
• Develop solutions in Python using frameworks such as PyTorch, AWS Strands, and AWS Bedrock in a cloud-based environment.
• Analyze current scientific approaches, develop original ideas, and evaluate them using real-world data.

Qualifications
