Event Coordinator/Virtual Event Specialist

About the role

Arlo Solutions is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator or Virtual Event Specialist to support the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in planning and executing large-scale virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. This role is responsible for the virtual and hybrid attendee experience, including platform administration, live streaming, technical troubleshooting, and post-event data analysis. The ideal candidate will manage complex event logistics and ensure seamless integration between on-site and virtual components.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain the online event management platform including branded sites, mobile apps, and email campaigns.
• Manage registration workflows for all participant types and track session interest and attendance.
• Coordinate live streaming of sessions and manage two-way engagement tools like polls, chat, and Q&A.
• Lead technical rehearsals, dry runs, and speaker tech checks to ensure operational readiness.
• Serve as the primary virtual and hybrid operations lead during live events, troubleshooting issues in real time.
• Compile post-event data, including attendance and survey results, to support after-action reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of event coordination or management experience
• High school diploma and at least 8 years of related experience
