Software Engineer, Command Centre (Frontend & UI/UX)

About the role

You will build the Command Centre, the interface used by operators to monitor robots and cameras, make critical decisions, and task the fleet. This role combines engineering and design, requiring you to shape workflows, prototype, test with operators, and ship production code. You will collaborate with full-stack and vision engineers to create a high-performance, real-time interface.

Responsibilities

• Develop operator interfaces for live video, site maps, robot positions, and alerts.
• Manage the alert triage flow from initial detection to decision and dispatch.
• Create interfaces for tasking the fleet using plain language instructions.
• Develop and maintain a design system to ensure product consistency.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate based on operator feedback.
• Optimize performance for real-time streams across multiple sites.
