Expert Technical Accounting

About the role

As an Expert Technical Accounting, you will take ownership of complex technical accounting matters across the Group and advise senior Finance and business stakeholders. You will assess new business models, products, and transactions under IFRS and HGB to develop robust accounting conclusions. This role involves driving the implementation of these conclusions into accounting and reporting processes while partnering with various internal functions.

Responsibilities

• Take independent ownership of complex technical accounting topics and workstreams.
• Assess new business models, products, transactions, and contractual arrangements under IFRS and HGB.
• Develop well-supported accounting conclusions for complex and judgmental matters.
• Act as a trusted accounting advisor to Finance and business stakeholders.
• Drive the implementation of technical accounting conclusions into accounting and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with GL Accounting, Group Accounting, ERP, Tax, and Legal functions.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field
