Software Engineer - Menu

About the role

Olo is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Menu team within the Order engineering group. You will be responsible for managing and publishing billions of menu records, working on performance-sensitive infrastructure that requires a deep understanding of distributed systems. This role involves collaborating with product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while leveraging modern AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle small-to-medium features independently and take ownership of moderately complex tasks.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product to refine requirements and shape effective solutions.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve complex issues.
• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of services in production environments.
• Contribute to building and maintaining reliable distributed systems with resilience mechanisms.
• Participate in on-call duties as required by the team.

Qualifications
