Senior Data Engineer - Real time analytics

About the role

Aircall is seeking an engaged and passionate Senior Data Engineer to join the Analytics & Data Platform team. You will be responsible for managing the analytics and event platform stack, building features that provide near real-time data solutions for over 22,000 customers. This role involves designing scalable streaming platform solutions and unlocking data value to empower informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into data models and optimize for big data.
• Identify slow queries and optimize for better performance.
• Write clean, scalable code using Scala, Python, or SQL, and test and deploy applications.
• Solve challenging data problems in near real-time using optimal data architectures and frameworks.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions while monitoring platform performance.
• Mentor team members through actionable feedback.
