Linguist - Wolof - UI Technical / Marketing

About the role

LILT is seeking skilled Wolof-language professionals to join their talent network for software localization, marketing, and retail content projects. Linguists will adapt complex software interfaces, support documentation, and marketing campaigns to ensure cultural relevance and brand consistency for native Wolof users.

Responsibilities

• Adapt complex software interfaces and support documentation with accuracy and terminological rigor.
• Transform global campaigns and brand voices to maintain creative spirit while maximizing local relevance.
• Localize product and UI listings applying regional naming logic and formatting standards.
• Uphold quality benchmarks to provide engaging, audience-centric content aligned with brand identity.
• Coordinate with production and quality leads to execute projects on schedule and within client specifications.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Wolof
• Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
