Regional Flight Operations Support Manager

About the role

Wing is seeking a Regional Flight Operations Support Manager to lead and develop a team of Flight Operations Support Coordinators. This role involves overseeing regional vendor strategy, managing operational systems, and ensuring financial and administrative oversight. The manager will also lead long-range capacity planning and SOP development to support Wing's drone delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Flight Operations Support Coordinators.
• Serve as the primary regional point of contact for Vendor leadership to manage contract adherence and optimize crew deployment.
• Oversee regional utilization of workforce management tools and ensure data integrity.
• Function as the primary approver for team timesheets, expense reports, and regional travel.
• Forecast regional staffing requirements based on projected flight volumes.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for site logistics and crew readiness.
• Connect the team with cross-functional partners to promote shared goals and represent Wing during outreach activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aviation operations, logistics, or workforce management
• Proven experience as a people manager leading distributed teams
• 2+ years of direct experience in Commercial Drone operations (Part 107/135)

Certifications

• 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
