About the role

Wing is looking for a Regional Flight Operations Support Manager to lead and develop a team of Flight Operations Support Coordinators. This role involves overseeing regional vendor strategy, managing operational systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and standard operating procedures. You will also be responsible for long-range capacity planning and cross-functional collaboration to support Wing's drone delivery logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Flight Operations Support Coordinators.
  • Serve as the primary regional point of contact for Vendor leadership to manage contract adherence.
  • Oversee regional utilization of workforce management tools and ensure data integrity.
  • Function as the primary approver for team timesheets, expense reports, and regional travel.
  • Forecast regional staffing requirements based on projected flight volumes.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for site logistics and crew readiness.
  • Actively connect the team with cross-functional partners to promote shared goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in aviation operations, logistics, or workforce management
  • Proven experience as a people manager leading distributed teams
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Commercial Drone operations (Part 107/135)

Certifications

  • 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
