Senior Data Engineer - Real time analytics

About the role

Aircall is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Analytics & Data Platform team to manage and evolve their analytics and event platform stack. You will design and deliver scalable, low-latency streaming solutions that provide near real-time data insights for over 22,000 global customers. This role involves translating business needs into data models, optimizing big data performance, and mentoring team members within a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into data models and optimize for big data
• Design and deliver scalable, low-latency streaming platform solutions
• Identify slow queries and optimize for better performance
• Write clean, scalable code using Scala, Python, or SQL and deploy applications
• Solve complex data problems using optimal architectures and frameworks
• Participate in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
• Mentor team members through actionable feedback
