Junior Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

BSI Software is looking for a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of their SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, and T-Systems. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting internal teams and customers through monitoring and automation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and performance of the SaaS platform on AWS, Azure, and T-Systems.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and contribute to observability improvements.
• Provide 2nd-level support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana, including dashboards and alerts.
• Automate cloud infrastructure management using Terraform, Docker, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes.
• Develop and test backup and disaster recovery concepts.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation while automating recurring operational tasks.
