Staff Accountant

About the role

Enumerate is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our community association management software clients. You will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for our Financial Services clients. This hands-on role requires a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for associations involving multiple bank accounts
• Prepare and issue financial statements for associations ensuring accuracy and timely completion of task
• Prepare necessary supporting schedules including accrued expense and prepaid expense
• Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials
• Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month financials being issued
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
• Maintain accounting controls through careful attention to policies and procedures
• Research and respond to inquiries related to financials statements prepared
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Direct participate internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications
