Senior Technical Procurement Specialist - PCBs/Electronics

About the role

The Senior Technical Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end procurement of printed circuit boards through manufacturing partners. This role bridges the gap between engineering, supply chain, and production by translating technical requirements into supplier packages and negotiating costs and lead times. The position ensures that high-quality boards are delivered on time to support product development and manufacturing at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB procurement end-to-end from RFQ and quote analysis through PO creation, order tracking, delivery, and closure.
• Translate engineering needs into supplier-ready data by reviewing BOMs, Gerbers, stackups, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage contract manufacturers by building relationships, aligning on capabilities, and driving performance on cost, quality, and lead time.
• Optimize cost and lead time by running competitive RFQs and negotiating pricing and terms.
• Mitigate supply and technical risks by monitoring material availability and proposing alternates.
• Support NPI and engineering changes by coordinating production ramp-up and managing ECO impacts.
• Ensure quality and compliance by addressing nonconformances and tracking supplier performance against standards.
