About the role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the platform that powers Workist's AI agents, including cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and the CI/CD pipeline. You will set your own roadmap through quarterly themes, ensuring the platform remains secure, observable, and cost-efficient while supporting the growth of the product. You will report to the CTO and act as the primary voice for platform-related engineering decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of cloud environments across Azure and AWS, ensuring proper structure and isolation.
- Design and deliver platform capabilities such as GPU capacity planning and LLM gateway management.
- Manage Kubernetes and managed data services, ensuring capacity planning, safe upgrades, and cost control.
- Oversee end-to-end security, including access control, network isolation, and vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain observability and alerting systems, leading incident response and post-incident follow-ups.
- Optimize the path from merge request to production to ensure fast builds and reliable deployments.
