Senior / Staff Intelligence Analyst, Environmental Crimes

About the role

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior or Staff Intelligence Analyst to lead the development of a new intelligence function focused on disrupting environmental crimes and wildlife trafficking. The role involves researching and publishing intelligence on illicit financial flows, managing key partnerships, and leveraging AI to scale investigative impact. You will act as a subject matter expert, driving investigations and shaping product capabilities to support law enforcement and global partners.

Responsibilities

• Research, author, and publish intelligence products such as threat assessments, typology reports, and network maps.
• Develop and use multi-source intelligence to identify entities and financial flows behind environmental crime networks.
• Manage the United for Wildlife partner program, providing case assistance, analysis, and training to a network of over 200 organizations.
• Organize cross-sector sprints and working groups to facilitate real-time disruption of illicit activities.
• Represent TRM as a public voice on environmental crimes at external events and with media.
• Partner with product teams to translate field needs into structured feedback and prototype new analysis capabilities.
• Build reusable AI workflows for signal processing and target selection.

Qualifications
