Platform Engineer Kubernetes & Automation

About the role

As part of the software team, you will ensure the AXOS platform operates reliably, repeatably, and scalably. Your focus will be on Kubernetes/k3s, automation, monitoring, alerting, and establishing stable deployment and operational processes. You will work closely with cloud/edge development, product owners, and operations to build a sustainable technical foundation for customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize, administer, and further develop Kubernetes/k3s-based platform environments.
• Standardize and automate repeatable platform setups for new customer, cloud, and edge systems.
• Advance infrastructure, configuration, and deployment workflows using scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Develop staging, release, update, and deployment processes.
• Expand and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Analyze and resolve platform, deployment, and operational issues.
• Support the operation of productive customer environments and prepare new rollouts.
• Structure operational standards, runbooks, and setup procedures.
