Senior Accountant / Buchhalter

About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting of BIT Capital, a regulated investment firm. You will manage daily accounting tasks, prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, and drive the automation of financial processes. This role offers the opportunity to shape accounting workflows and work directly with the finance management team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting including accounts payable and receivable in DATEV
• Prepare monthly financial statements according to HGB and support annual closing processes
• Coordinate with tax advisors and auditors
• Manage travel expenses and payment transactions while maintaining liquidity planning
• Automate accounting workflows using tools like Candis, Excel, and AI
• Handle regulatory reporting such as AWV filings
