Chief Technology Officer

About the role

As CTO, you will own Technology and Engineering at the C-level, reporting to the CEO and working as a peer to the CPO. You will build a strong leadership layer and an engineering system that prioritizes security, resilience, and evidence while overseeing technology strategy, budget, and capacity. The role requires balancing technical rigor with product strategy to support digital clinical workflows in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate company and product strategy into a technology strategy with clear capabilities and measurable proof points.
• Lead all Engineering teams and leads, including Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, and quality automation.
• Build a strong leadership layer and resilient internal and external capacity without single-person dependencies.
• Own architecture, technology choices, reliability, security implementation, and regulated development for critical workflows.
• Plan the Engineering budget and capacity, deciding on technology, vendors, and build-versus-buy options.
• Represent the company in high-stakes technical discussions with clinics, partners, auditors, and investors.
