About the role
The Staff Cryptography Engineer will join the team to build post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration for HSM and network-appliance products. This hands-on role involves implementing the software side of modern post-quantum algorithms, including reference models and optimized implementations, while developing test infrastructure to ensure correctness.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain reference and bit-accurate models of ML-KEM, ML-DSA and SLH-DSA/LMS in C/C++/Rust and Python
- Develop constant-time software implementations of cryptographic functions
- Build out known-answer-test and test-vector tooling for verification and CAVP certification
- Contribute to the decomposition of algorithms into hardware-friendly building blocks
- Support RTL and firmware engineers with algorithm questions and debugging
- Evaluate third-party cryptographic libraries
