About the role

SAFED France is seeking an Automation and Industrial Systems Engineer to join their team in Besançon. The role involves technical study of client needs, electrical design, and the development and commissioning of industrial furnace control systems. The successful candidate will work closely with the technical team and provide support to clients across France and Western Europe.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical studies for client requirements and participate in cost estimation.
• Create electrical schematics using EPLAN and manage material procurement.
• Develop and configure PLCs and regulators including Schneider, Siemens, Unitronics, and Eurotherm.
• Program and adjust PID loops for temperature and atmosphere control.
• Configure digital communications and industrial network buses.
• Perform on-site commissioning, maintenance follow-up, and technical support.
