Senior QA Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA Engineer will specialize in Amazon Connect and contact center technology, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for contact flows, routing, and AI-driven conversational agents. This role involves validating legacy-to-Connect migrations, maintaining automated test suites, and ensuring production readiness through rigorous testing and incident triage. The engineer will partner with development teams to shift quality left and mentor junior staff to strengthen the company's contact center QA practice.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Amazon Connect implementations including routing logic and IVR/self-service.
• Build and maintain manual and automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Validate legacy-to-Connect migrations through parallel-run testing and data migration verification.
• Execute phased rollout and cutover validation for live contact centers to ensure production readiness.
• Partner with engineers to shift testing left by reviewing acceptance criteria and flagging risks.
• Run UAT sessions with customer stakeholders and drive defects to resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers on contact center testing patterns and quality standards.
