Head of Financial Systems Transformation

About the role

Taxfix is seeking an expert to lead the transformation of financial processes and the implementation of AI within its financial systems infrastructure. This role involves defining and owning the end-to-end roadmap, from architecture decisions to hands-on ERP configuration, while ensuring scalability, compliance, and audit readiness. You will act as the primary liaison between Finance, Engineering, and Product teams to build a robust, automated financial ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Map the current finance systems landscape across all Taxfix countries, identify improvement areas, and design the target architecture.
• Drive the transformation of core finance processes through AI and automation, including vendor selection and implementation.
• Make AI-powered automation a priority to build integrated core workflows across controllership functions.
• Define and sequence the multi-year finance transformation roadmap, balancing strategic ambition with pragmatic delivery.
• Build a systems architecture that meets institutional-grade standards for controls, audit trails, and access governance.
• Co-own control layers across finance systems including month-end close and revenue recognition.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Engineering, Product, and external partners to translate requirements into technical reality.
• Lead system oversight and govern key processes, particularly monthly closing and chargebacks.
