Staff Product Designer (Motion)

About the role

Deliveroo is seeking a Staff Product Designer (Motion) to join the Studio Central team in London. This role involves leading the shift toward build-first motion design, establishing principles and systems that elevate craft and expression across global product surfaces for Deliveroo, DoorDash, and Wolt.

Responsibilities

• Define the point of view and motion principles for branded moments across products.
• Build reusable motion systems, expression frameworks, animated component libraries, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Establish motion as a core discipline within Studio Central by creating guidelines and rituals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to advocate for in-product motion using working prototypes.
• Lead key brand moments from concept to production-ready motion.
• Navigate ambiguous spaces to establish design standards across in-house teams and external partners.
